3 Ways to better retirement;

  It starts where I call “PRE-RETIREMENT” Understanding, Planning and Implementation.  It also starts with CHILDREN. Kids aren’t born knowing this, their not taught this in school, So it’s up to you and me.

No “Get Rich Quick” plan here, sorry. This is a place for Understanding, Planning, and Implementing strategies to better your situation for retirement. 

I’m amazed at how many people still believe, several things about this topic, that just don’t hold water. For instance; I’m so far in debt I’ll have to work forever. (not sure how long this is myself…) Never the less there’s NO LIGHT at the end of their tunnel or no end to their tunnel or how about, social security is failing, will it be around for me or my CHILDREN to retire on? Or I’m too old, or young to try to make things happen now.

Things are the same today, yesterday and they will be tomorrow.

 The same situations have applied themselves throughout history, over and over.  People have lost Jobs, Economical Recession, housing market to high, etc. and there’s a million more excuses where those came from however people still seem to retire. You will too!!!  Unless of course you plan on working untill you…. Never mind~  

OK, so I said I would give you 3 steps towards a better retirement. Here they are;

1.  Start saving with your kids… What? You don’t think you have enough money to live on now, how are you going to start saving… 
2. Be happy…  You’re starting today. Many people still have nothing and won’t have. But you will, so be enthusiastic about saving your pennies. Look forward to working together. 
3. Take ownership… In your retirement. Remind yourself, no one will do this for you, and depending on how you take control of this situation will ultimately impact your life of retirement.  

In the upcoming posts we will discuss simple saving techniques more thorough. I’m not ready to suggest a Broker or On-Line investing, just some simple things first.  We will also be pushing forward towards Take a Kid Investing.

Pre-retirement, for me, means planning, gaining knowledge, or starting towards your retirement

Well it appears, to me, I need to better define what I mean when I say “Pre-retirement”. After searching the internet I realized we, me and other pre-retirement writers, were talking about a couple different issues, plans, strategies etc . So this post is being written specifically to clarify my definition of pre-retirement.  It is ALSO being written for you to become aware of starting something today. Whether that’s starting a plan, gianing knowledge, AND getting a KID started, which I think is totally rewarding, no pun intended, but it’s exciting I could write on and on and well you get it~ SO… 

 In my “About Me” part of this blog I mentioned I wanted to create a meaningful blog for me, as well as others. However, after studying material offered towards Pre-retirement over the internet it became clear to me that the information was more towards individuals who are close to retiring and or probably have a plan in place and have for some time.

Pre-retirement for me, means starting towards your retirement, as soon as possible! It doesn’t matter, to me, what your age is however, if your within 3 years of retiring and you know your plan, this is probably not for you. With that said, PLEASE, feel free to read the information here and by all means, add your comments towards helping others as they need to be aware of what you have gone through, or “wish you would have known then, what you know now”.     By All Means, Pass this Web Page Along.

Greetings~ Agian…

Merry Christmas and happy holiday’s to you and your family. This is my second blog and I am excited to get it off the press.

Let’s discuss Family; Have you thought during this holiday season about my 1st blog? Preretirement. Is that a word or an oxymoron, like Grease Lightning? Never the less I’m using preretirement for my Blog.

OK, Where are we pertaining to the topic of Income vs Outgoing? This question needs specific, detailed, in depth understanding. You can’t just brush over it or think it’s to overwhelming that will stop you before you get started.

Understanding income vs outgo is the 1st step to your plan, breakdown. Now I’m not about to open up my bank account and bills, and I wouldn’t expect that from you. However, working together we can share plans, ideas, and helpful tips to assist each other in overcoming what we think might be a MAJOR burden to only find out it’s Not.

A couple simple questions that seem to be one of the biggest roadblock’s. Plan, Plan, Plan. Let’s get started.

Pre-Retirement; Creating, Understanding, and Knowing.

There is a few things, obviously, that we need to think about before retiring. What do you think about retiring? Can you retire at an age you think you should? How about what it will take, financially to retire?
These and several other topics need your immediate attention! No matter what you believe, retiring takes planning. Severe planning. Hard answers need to be asked as well as answered. So let’s jump in~ Now, it’s never to early and never to late. It does however, need your attention.
